About the event

Big emotions. Fast reactions. Moments that feel like they could spiral at any second.

In this in-person session, we’ll talk about what actually fuels escalation between parents and kids—and why it’s not about being a “calm enough” parent. You’ll learn simple, realistic de-escalation tools that help slow things down, reduce power struggles, and keep situations from blowing up when stress is high.

We’ll focus on what helps in the moment, what makes things worse (even when we mean well), and how small shifts in how we respond can make a big difference over time. You’ll leave with practical phrases, grounding tools, and a clearer sense of what to do when things start heading off the rails—plus reassurance that struggle does not equal failure.
