Shared with you from PaTTAN (PA Training and Technical Assistance Network) of the PA Department of Education:
Strong family-school partnerships provide a foundation for students to be successful. However, a school’s good intentions to improve or enhance family engagement may not produce the desired outcomes. Despite valiant efforts, families may not attend events, support their child’s learning at school or home, or accept invitations to participate on school committees. PaTTAN’s Statewide Family Engagement Initiative is striving to help LEAs (Local Education Authority) and families work collaboratively to build strong family-school partnerships and improved student achievement.
We ask that you, your staff, and your school families complete a brief Family Engagement Survey by midnight on March 23, 2020, to assist us in developing a training plan that will help meet this goal. The results will help shape our delivery platforms, types, frequency, and content of trainings on enhancing
family engagement. All survey responses are anonymous and confidential. There are specific survey questions for professionals and questions for families. Through this survey, we will gain value insight from both school staff and families.
Please access the survey by midnight on March 23, 2020 at this link: https://tinyurl.com/Family-Engagement-Survey
Thank you in advance for your participation.
As always, the Parent Alliance is here to help if you want someone to discuss your thoughts or concerns before completing the survey. We're here to support you as you Share Your Voice.
